CONFINEMENT
CONFINEMENT is a testament to motherhood over lockdown.
It is a project for mothers by mothers.
Set in the wilderness of Walthamstow Wetlands, this site-specific project uses costume, sound & movement to examine the historical traditions of post-natal confinement in the context of the global pandemic lockdowns.
We also run free creative workshops for mothers and carers throughout the summer.
I delivered movement workshops online. I designed four movement instructions for the short film, which made it accessible to everyone at and anytime.
